Science, Technology and Innovation (ST&I) are crucial for addressing complex global challenges and in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. A concerted global effort, leveraging all available resources and expertise, is essential. For instance, combating climate change (SDG 13), ensuring access to clean water and sanitation (SDG 6), or developing sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11), ST&I offers innovative approaches and transformative technologies. However, translating groundbreaking research and technological advancements into practical, scalable solutions often faces hurdles, including funding limitations, lack of market access, and insufficient awareness of potential impact. To address these challenges and foster a culture of innovation focused on the SDGs, this national pitching challenge is scheduled on October 23, 2026, as a sub-plenary session of the 28th SPVM National Physics Conference (October 22–24, 2026), and in conjunction with four other major scientific conferences. This competition aims to identify and support promising ST&I projects that offer viable solutions to pressing global challenges, aligning strictly with the SDG framework. It serves as a premier platform for professional researchers, student innovators, entrepreneurs, and developers to showcase recently completed ST&I research works or ST&I-based startups. Participants will receive valuable feedback from a distinguished panel of industry and academic experts.
